Marking Instructions:
All screens should be individually marked to clearly indicate the top of the screen and the type and desired location of all leads, plugs, and reed switches. Although we have been able to interpret many different marking systems, we strongly recommend marking each screen according to the following legend in Figure 1. (Use a piece of tape on the frame and mark on the tape. This will protect the frame.) Important: Be sure to mark the screen frames on the side the lead wires are to come out, i.e. side edge, spline side, or face side.
LEGEND:
T = TOP
AP = AMP PLUG
PL = PIN LEAD
L = 22 GA. LEAD
R = REED SWITCH
/--PL--/ = SLOTTED PIN LEAD

Shipping Instructions:
The following steps are suggested to simplify the shipping of your screens.

1. After marking the screen remove the spline and mesh and discard both. 2. Break down the screen frame by pulling it apart at the corners. Be sure not to lose or damage the insert brackets or frame.

3. Tape the four sides together in a tight bundle. Note: Do not send the screens loose. We must know which four pieces go together. (ie. 5 screens = 5 bundles, 10 screens = 10 bundles, etc.) 4. Ship the bundles to our factory with the appropriate manufacturing information. We will reassemble the frames, manufacture the screens, and return.

If you do not wish to disassemble the frames, a crate must be built to ship the screens to us. Make sure to build a crate that is sturdy enough to protect the frames. In most cases we can re-use the same crate to ship them back to you.
